Armar un árbol

Amar un árbol se enmarca en los territorios donde la naturaleza cicatriza sus heridas. Parajes resecos y derribados que sienten en soledad el latido de la tierra.
Centro la mirada en un almendro, que a distancia del resto, lucha por su supervivencia en una estepa que no le ofrece agua hace muchos años. Se yergue, indolente, alzando su copa en flor, derrochando resiliencia y femineidad, pelea con certeza por su lugar en esta tierra.
Al retratarlo, busco desactivar la masificación antropocentrista de los árboles, lo confirmo único e irrepetible. Enaltezco su existencia en el borde de la muerte en el desierto de Almería, España.
El proyecto, es una mirada a los vínculos entre individuos y biosfera: una convivencia que nos interpela en tanto seres biológicos, finitos y vulnerables. Busca provocar, desde la poética, una experiencia sensible, que cuestiona el valor de belleza y la capacidad de amar.
Una serie de litografías que incluyen la variable del tiempo en contraposición con la inmediatez fotográfica acompañan los retratos del árbol elegido, que siempre el mismo, aunque su tiempo en la búsqueda de supervivencia, siempre diferente.

Armar un árbol is framed in the territories where nature heals its wounds. Dry, desolate landscapes that feel the heartbeat of the earth in solitude.
I focus my gaze on an almond tree, distant from the rest, fighting for its survival in a steppe that hasn’t offered it water for many years. It stands tall, indolent, raising its flowering canopy, exuding resilience and femininity, fighting with certainty for its place on this earth.
By portraying it, I seek to defuse the anthropocentric massification of trees, confirming it as unique and unrepeatable. I exalt its existence on the brink of death in the desert of Almería, Spain.
The project is a look at the connections between individuals and the biosphere: a coexistence that challenges us as biological, finite, and vulnerable beings. It seeks to provoke, through poetry, a sensitive experience that questions the value of beauty and the capacity to love. A series of lithographs that include the variable of time in contrast to photographic immediacy accompany the portraits of the chosen tree, which is always the same, although its time in the search for survival is always different.
